All items are made to order based on your pet’s individual needs and preferences. Typically, orders ship in 3-5 business days.

The best way to accurately measure is to use flexible measuring tape and loosely measure the neck where you would like the collar to sit. Add about two (2) fingers between the neck and the measuring tape so the collar will fit comfortably.

Yes! We know dogs come in all different shapes and sizes and want to provide beautiful, high-quality options to all breeds. When you place your Poppy & Payson order please let us know what length works best for your own pet in the notes at checkout.

If there’s a specific color combination your fur baby is just drooling over, please let us know in the order notes upon checkout.

It is! That’s one of the great things about purchasing a Poppy & Payson custom product, you can choose your preferred color, size and hardware with each order. In the order notes, please let us know the specifications and we’ll work with you to create something special for your pet.

At Poppy & Payson we pride ourselves on high-quality, sustainable and fashionable dog accessories. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us to request a return.

We accept returns within a 90-day purchase window and if there is a problem with your product, we’ll do our best to make it right for you and your four-legged friend.

We love a good color scheme and Poppy & Payson worked hard to find a leather supplier that would provide vibrant and rich colors which take inspiration from our home in Southern California and its abundance of wildflowers. 

We want to make sure we offer a variety of colors and styles to complement your pet’s own unique fur color and style. If you’re purchasing a custom order you will have an option to choose your preferred color at checkout. At Poppy & Payson, we want to ensure you have the best possible experience with our products from your first order to your 100th dog walk.

Speaking of a walk, if you’re ordering a customized product, our design expert and founder, Andalyn, will walk you through the entire process from the initial order notes to the final stitch. You’ll want to include the following in your order notes during the checkout process:

• Width of product
• Length of product (for collars, learn how to measure.)
• Colors preferences
• Hardware preferences

If you have questions, as an experienced high-end fashion industry expert, Andalyn will work with you to choose colors. Taking care to make swatches of combinations, thread options and even edging available for you to review, she will ensure you have the best possible product before shipping.

At Poppy & Payson, we want to provide the best quality product with the same attention to detail we would want for our own fur babies. While we try our best to provide customized designs as quickly as possible, it can take up to three (3) weeks depending on if we need to source additional leather and hardware. 

We know how exciting it is to unbox a new product, and will try our best to get all custom designs out in a timely manner, but handcrafted takes time and we want to provide the best product for you and your pet to enjoy. 

At Poppy & Payson, owner and design expert Andalyn believes in offering the highest quality, durable and stylish fashion for pets. As an experienced high-end fashion industry expert, she takes her knowledge of leather working, high-quality luxury design and trials with her own high-energy fur babies to create durable handcrafted collars and accessories.

Andalyn takes great care to research her products before designing items she knows will be incredibly durable while looking most aesthetically pleasing before trying them on Poppy and Payson, her own loving Basenjis. She ensures her handcrafted accessories are tried and true as sustainable, high-quality dog collars, leashes and accessories. She only sells products she uses on her own pets.

Aesthetically pleasing collars
When it comes to collars, you’ll notice the details are what sets Andalyn’s designs apart as she’s opted for a squared “A” design over a traditional rounded tip creating a more stylish aesthetic.

Unique harnesses
Her harnesses were developed with thought and care to ensure the best possible variation for all pet parents. They feature a handle which works for fast reacting pets to keep them safe while also looking luxurious.

Multi-use leashes
Andalyn’s process to find the perfect leash was inspired by Payson.  Like most pups, he gets excited to walk with Poppy and loves to bite at leashes. But the paracord fabric did the trick and walk-time has become much more enjoyable, especially with the growth of Andalyn’s fur’family, this leash has now become a 4-in-1 walk savior!

Accessories on the go
With accessories such as the Poop Pouch,  Andalyn took great care to think through the practicality of this piece. You’ll notice her design has a snap closure and clip at the top to make it easily reloadable and a quick attachment to any leash which is great when your pet needs to “go.” You’ll notice Andalyn designed the flap with a square “A” to mirror the collar tip, paying attention to every little detail because every dog deserves to be fashionable.
